But for real, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid are so VASTLY different from Henry Gondorff and Johnny Hooker, like these characters are leagues apart, you can’t see Henry having much in common with Butch, you can’t imagine Johnny and Sundance really getting on. The chemistry and the power dynamic between the duos is flipped and switched and mixed up, but the films remain BRILLIANT in cheeky opposite ways, two of the best films ever probably. I just love Newman and Redford so much, they are just so GOOD together why couldn’t they have made a million more films, no I’m not crying, you are.
